2019 Malvasia Bianca

91 points - Wine Enthusiast
This wine is aromatically exuberant. It pushes from the glass with distinct scents of honeysuckle, lychee, a hint of kiwi, and soft yellow/green tones reminiscent of dandelion blossom. The palate is both supple and lively, with a slight prickle of C02 and a faintly waxy texture. It finishes with a clean touch of lemon-curd acidity.
Fermented and aged in stainless steel for 6 months.
Technical Information:
Soil Type:
Linne Clay Loam - this whitish gray soil contains limestone pieces beginning 18”-24” below the surface. The presence of limestone captures and preserves the freshness in this wine, and being a heavier soil lends itself to a rounder mouthfeel.
