Bronze Medal - San Francisco International Wine Competition

Tiradora means “sharpshooter” in Spanish, as this is a direct, focused wine. Fermented in a combination of stainless steel, neutral oak barrels, and concrete with partial malolactic, and aged for 6 months before taking the best components of both Sauvignon Blanc (79%) and Semillon (21%) to blend into one of our original flagships.  Bright, lean, and mineral driven, while offering a slight mid palate richness from the Semillon.  Lemongrass, wet stone, gooseberry, and Asian Pear.  The palate is focused and precise, offering roundness from the blend, maintaining freshness with great length.

* Our "tiradora" image on the label is a silhouette of the eldest Gleason daughter, Mara, as she aims a .22 from the front porch of the barn at the vineyard.  A little target practice on empty wine bottles!
